Set in Germany during the war, a young teenager lived.  He was raised Nazi and said 'heil Hitler.'  He wasn't sure if he hated Jews or really believed in Hitler.  This is his story.   Here is his quote "I am reporting how I lived through that time and what I saw- no more.  I was there.  I was not merely an eyewitness.  I believed- and I will never believe again."

Would you Recommend this book to what age group? Why?
I would recommend this not to little kids.  The War Thing might disturb them.  I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in the war.

What did you like about this book?
I liked how it gave us the view of a Nazi Youth,  not a Jewish person or a soldier. Just a kid.

What didn't you like about this book?
I think that they skipped around too much.
