This is a book about a boy named Jonas.  He lives in a perfect world, a world with no hate, no fear, no wars, not even true love.  In his world, everyone is assigned jobs and families.  Some people's jobs are to have kids and everyone else gets assigned kids.  Jonas then is assigned to be the Receiver.  He get memories from the past and soon realizes how horrible his life is.

Would you Recommend this book to what age group? Why?
I would recommend this to MATURE older grade schoolers and middle schoolers.

What did you like about this book?
I liked how it made you think about life and the whole concept of this 'perfect' world.

What didn't you like about this book?
Nothing at all!
